The Parable Of The Pharisee & Tax Collector - Luke 18:9-14

Self-righteousness is a plague upon all the hearts of those in Adam. This parable of Jesus addresses this very thing in such a striking way that it leaves each of us with nothing to boast in but Christ alone. The Biblical truth echoed by this parable is that those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
