God's command for Abraham to sacrifice Isaac is one of the most difficult passages to reconcile and make sense of. Even many atheists will use this passage to try and point to a stain on God's character. However, when this passage is rightly understood, it becomes one of the most beautiful passages in all of Scripture. We see a shadow of what Christ did for His people. We see the shadow of the Sacrifice that God Himself provided.
